Hi, my name is Nesrine. I am a psychologist licensed in Ontario, specializing in adult neuropsychology and rehabilitation psychology since 2005. I had the privilege of training at the Ottawa Hospital, alongside some of the most skilled psychologists and rehabilitation specialists in the region. Over the years, I worked across various hospital services consulting, and assisting teams with assessments and recommendations for interventions to support patients during their admissions as well as for return to home life or work questions. Most of my recent experience has been in the field of rehabilitation, where I learned about the devastating effects of a new diagnosis, and the losses one can experience when faced with a life-changing injury or disease.

In 2020, I became the clinical leader at the Robin Easey Centre, named in the honour of Robin Easey, a sergent who suffered a traumatic brain injury while on duty responding to a robbery in Bayshore Mall in 1984. The Robin Easey Centre offers transitional brain injury services for individuals with moderate to severe disability from acquired brain injury. Along with an extremely dedicated team, I advanced a number of client-centered programs using best-practice guidelines to help empower clients, improve their functioning, and help them find themselves after a devastating injury.

I am a middle-aged mother, who has been humbled by lifeand our shared humanity. My kids have referred to me as “cringe“ as I use my creativity and humour in relating to others. I may not have the best memory, but I am clear-minded, curious, and love to solve problems, especially ones that help people. If I have the privilege of meeting you, I will endeavour to ensure competent, inclusive and compassionate care.

I am very excited to start my private practice in 2026, and welcome other skilled practitioners who have similar values to join me in offering interventional services so together, we can maximize the benefits of neuropsychology.
